WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SATURDAY OCTOBER 2, 2021
Saturday was partly cloudy and a bit warmer but still not too bad. I reached the mid 70s for today’s high with dew points starting to creep up into the low 60s. We peaked with our max temperature (75.0) of the day in the later mid afternoon down to the low 50s just before sunrise.
The peak wind gust for the day (15 MPH) was the same as yesterday, peaking at mid-day, maintaining yesterday’s W direction. Barometric pressures were highest at the very
beginning of the day while the lowest was reached almost 24 hours later just before midnight.
Sunday should be partly sunny and warmer, with highs in the mid 80s on Sunday with lows in the mid 60s. Monday – Thursday should be partly to mostly cloudy with increasing chances for showers/storms during the period (except for Tuesday) with highs in the mid-upper 70s and lows in the low-mid 60s.

Currently at 0253 AM EDT Sunday we have cloudy skies, a temperature of 60.3, barometer 30.06″ and falling, relative humidity 93%, dew point 58, winds S-SE 0-5 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
