WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – FRIDAY OCTOBER 1, 2021
Friday started the month of October in fine fashion with another beautifully sunny, cool, dry day. I failed to reach the 70 mark for today’s high with dew points in the upper 40s to mid 50s all day. We peaked with our max temperature (68.3) of the day in the later mid afternoon down to the low 50s just after sunrise.
The peak wind gust for the day (15 MPH) lessened a bit today, peaking in the early mid-afternoon, veering around slightly to a W direction. Barometric pressures were highest in the mid morning while the lowest was reached in the very early morning hours at midnight.
The Saturday-Sunday weekend period should be partly to mostly sunny and a bit warmer, with highs in the upper 70s Saturday and low-mid 80s on Sunday with lows in the mid 50s Saturday to mid 60s on Sunday. Monday – Wednesday should be partly cloudy with increasing chances for showers/storms with highs in the mid-upper 70s and lows in the low 60s.
