WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 30, 2021
Thursday was another beautifully sunny, cool, dry day to put a conclusion to the very changeable month of September 2021. I barely reached the 70 mark for today’s high with dew points in the 50s all day. We peaked with our max temperature (70.3) of the day in the mid afternoon down to the low 50s just after sunrise.
The peak wind gust for the day (21 MPH) increased a bit today, peaking in the early mid-afternoon, maintaining yesterday’s NW direction. Barometric pressures were
highest very late in the day while the lowest was reached in the very early morning hours at midnight.
Friday, to start the lovely month of October, should be mostly sunny and dry with highs around 70, with lows in the upper 40s. The Saturday-Sunday weekend period
should be partly cloudy and a bit milder, with highs in the upper 70s Saturday and low 80s on Sunday with lows in the mid 50s Saturday to mid 60son Sunday. It should remain dry during this entire time period, but on Monday our rain chances look to be increasing with slightly warmer temperatures.
