WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – MONDAY SEPTEMBER 13, 2021

Sorry to have missed reporting the past few days. I am battling carpal tunnel syndrome and having a hard time typing and doing my usual routine daily functions. This report may very well be shorter than usual as a result. I got a wrist brace and pain reliever acetaminophen medication on Monday that has helped me somewhat so far.

Saturday and Sunday were sunny to partly cloudy, gradually warmer, dry and uneventful. Monday was warmer, more humid with a light shower (0.03″) during the day sometime. I reached the upper 80s for highs with dew points rising through the upper 60s early into the low 70s by midday. We peaked with a very warm max temperature (89.1) of the day in the mid-afternoon. The low temperature for the day (upper 60s) was reached in the early morning hours about 1/2 hour after sunrise.

The peak wind gust for the day (23 MPH) was the same as yesterday, peaking in the late morning, veering around to a NW direction. Barometric pressures were highest in the mid-morning while the lowest was reached in the early evening hours.

Tuesday and Wednesday look partly cloudy and quite warm, with highs around 90 and lows in the upper 60s, then on Thursday and Friday look to cool down into the low 80s for highs and mid 60s for lows with partly to mostly cloudy skies and chances of showers and  thundershowers each day.
