WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2021
Friday was a beautifully sunny, pleasantly cool and dry day. We once again reached the mid 70s for highs with dew points holding in the 50s all day. We peaked with a
slightly cooler max temperature (74.1) of the day in the mid-afternoon. The low temperature for the day (upper 50s) was reached in the early morning hours almost two hours before sunrise.
The peak wind gust for the day (24 MPH) was stronger than yesterday, peaking in the late morning, veering around to a NE direction. Barometric pressures were highest
at the very end of the day while the lowest was reached in the very early morning hours, almost 24 hours earlier.
Saturday starts a warmup with highs of 80 and lows of 60 under sunny dry skies, then temperatures climb on Sunday to highs around 90 with lows in the mid-upper 60s
with partly to mostly sunny skies persisting through the upcoming week.

Currently at 0216 AM EDT Saturday we have clear skies, a temperature of 58.7, barometer 30.16″ and rising, relative humidity 91%, dew point 56, winds NW 0-5 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
