WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 5, 2021
Sunday was cloudy and a bit cooler with occasional rain showers and more humid. We only reached the upper low 70s for highs with dew points rising from the lower 60s into the low 70s. We peaked with a pleasant max temperature (72.6) of the day in the later afternoon. The low temperature for the day (in the mid 60s) was reached in the morning a few hours before sunrise.
The peak wind gust for the day (16 MPH) was a bit lower than yesterday’s, peaking in the early mid-afternoon, holding yesterday’s SW direction. Barometric pressures were highest in the very early morning at midnight while the lowest was reached in the early evening hours.
Labor Day Monday through Wednesday should be partly to mostly sunny and dry, with high temps in the low-mid 80s and lows in the mid 60s. There should be a cooling trend on Thursday and Friday with highs in the mid-upper 70s and lows in the upper 50s to low 60s and dry, partly to mostly sunny skies.
