WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 4, 2021
Saturday was another nice day but a bit warmer than yesterday and a tad more humid. The day was sunny, dry, and pleasant. We reached the upper mid 70s for highs with dew points rising from the upper 60s into the mid 60s. We peaked with still pleasant max temperature (76.7) of the day in the late afternoon. The low temperature for the day (in the upper 50s) was reached in the morning a few hours before sunrise.
The peak wind gust for the day (18 MPH) was the same as yesterday, peaking in the mid afternoon, veering over to a SW direction. Barometric pressures were highest in
the very early morning while the lowest was reached in the very late evening hours just before midnight.
Sunday looks cloudy but dry with highs in the mid-upper 70s and lows in the mid 60s. Monday through Wednesday should be partly to mostly sunny and dry, with high temps in the low-mid 80s and lows in the upper 50s to mid 60s.

Currently at 0230 AM EDT Sunday we have fair skies, a temperature of 67.2, barometer 29.91″ and falling, relative humidity 89%, dew point 64, winds S 0-10 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
