WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SUNDAY AUGUST 8, 2021
Sunday resumed the heating up period heading into the new week. We had mostly sunny skies most of the day after the clouds from yesterday’s weak storm cleared out early in the morning. We warmed up well into the upper mid 80s by mid afternoon. The daily minimum temperature in the mid 60s was reached in the early morning hours a bit after sunrise.
The peak winds (13 MPH) were even lighter than yesterday, “highest” in the mid morning while veering to the warmer westerly direction. Barometric pressures were highest in the late morning while the lowest were in the early morning overnight hours.
Monday should be partly cloudy and very warm with highs around 90 with lows around 70 with little chances of rain. Tuesday through Friday should be partly sunny, hot and humid with highs in the mid 90s and lows in the low 70s with chances of showers and/or storms each day except for Thursday.
