WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – FRIDAY AUGUST 6, 2021

Friday continued with the heating up process for our area for the next several days (except for a brief cooldown due to clouds from an offshore coastal storm on
Saturday) under partly cloudy skies. We warmed up to the upper 80s by early afternoon. The daily minimum temperature in the mid 60s was reached in the early
morning hours about fifteen minutes after sunrise.

The peak winds (23 MPH) picked up today, “highest” in the mid-day hour, holding on to yesterday’s warmer westerly direction. Barometric pressures were highest in
the late morning while the lowest were in the early evening.

Saturday looks to be cloudy and not as warm due to this storm getting close along the coast with highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid 60s with a chance of showers but they will be more likely to my east, closer to the Atlantic Ocean. Sunday and Monday should be partly cloudy and very warm with highs in the upper 80s to around 90 with lows in the upper 60s with little chances of rain. Tuesday and Wednesday should be partly to mostly sunny, hot and humid with highs in the low 90s and lows in the low 70s.
