WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – THURSDAY AUGUST 5, 2021

Thursday started the heating up process for our area for the next several days under partly cloudy skies. We warmed up to the mid 80s by mid-afternoon. The daily minimum temperature in the low 60s was reached in the early morning hours about twenty minutes after sunrise.

The peak winds (17 MPH) were still light but increased a tad from yesterday, “highest” in the mid afternoon, veering over to a warmer westerly direction. Barometric pressures were highest in the mid morning while the lowest were in the late afternoon.

Friday should be partly sunny with warmer temperatures reaching the low 90s with lows in the upper 60s. Saturday looks to be cloudy and not as warm due to a storm getting close along the coast with highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid 60s but should remain dry. Sunday and Monday should be partly cloudy and very warm with highs in the upper 80s on Sunday and low 90s on Monday with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s with little chances of rain.
