Tuesday started the climb into the more seasonal levels of heat and dew points. We warmed up a bit into the upper 80s. The day featured mostly sunny, hazy/smoky skies, warmer temperatures and rising dew points compared to yesterday. Max temps reached the upper 80s by later mid-afternoon while the daily minimum temperature in the upper 60s was reached in the early morning right after sunrise. The smoke was from Western wildfires.

The winds lessened a bit, veering slightly from the warmer SW direction, peaking mid afternoon. Barometric pressures were highest in the very early morning while the lowest were in the early evening hours.

Wednesday should be hot and humid with partly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 90s and lows around 70 with a 40 POP for PM thunderstorms. Thursday and Friday look to be a bit more pleasant with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s with lows in the upper 60s.

Currently at 0211 AM EDT Wednesday we have clear skies with a temperature of 74.5, barometer 29.89″ and falling, relative humidity 83%, dew point 69, winds W-SW at 0-5 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
