WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – WEDNESDAY JULY 14, 2021
Wednesday continued the hot and humid pattern of the week but not quite a bad with more afternoon clouds that looked threatening for a few hours but never materialized into anything significant. Still the day featured partly cloudy skies, very warm temperatures and slightly lower dew points. Max temps reached the 90 mark by mid-afternoon while the daily minimum temperature in the mid-70s was not reached until very late in the day, just before midnight.
The winds lessened again today, veering to a westerly direction. Barometric pressures were highest mid morning while lowest in the early evening.
Thursday and Friday should be partly to mostly sunny, hot and humid with highs in the 90-95 range with lows in the 70-75 range. Saturday still looks to be quite hot and humid with highs in the mid 90s with Sunday looking to be cooler with highs in the 85-90 range with chances of showers and storms under partly to mostly cloudy skies and lows around 70 both days.
