WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – MONDAY JUNE 28, 2021

Monday was hot and humid, with highs reaching the low 90s by mid-afternoon. Partly to mostly sunny skies predominated all day, with minor occasional buildups that did
not yield any shower activity. Minimum temps continued to rise with the lowest readings in the mid 70s, occurring in the early morning hours, just after sunrise.

The winds stayed in the moderate range, veering around to the S, peaking in the early evening before sunset. Barometric pressures were highest in the morning and
lowest around midnight at the very beginning of the day.

Partly cloudy skies Tuesday and Wednesday but hot and dry with highs in the mid-upper 90s during the period with lows in the low-mid 70s. We definitely have a heat
wave to close out the month of June. Heat looks to start breaking on Thursday with clouds, showers and storms likely, highs in the upper 80s, lows around 70 with more
showers and clouds and further cooling Friday through Sunday with highs in the 70s and lows in the mid 60s.
