WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – TUESDAY JUNE 15, 2021

Tuesday cooled off behind Monday night’s storms/frontal passage with max temps in the upper 70s reached by mid afternoon. Partly cloudy skies overnight with a light shower (.01″) occurring around 0100 gave way to mostly sunny skies during the day. Minimum temps in the lower mid 60s were reached in the early morning hours. Dew points dropped from the mid 60s at midnight down to the pleasant mid 50s by early evening.

The winds increased a bit more during the afternoon veering around to a drier cooler N direction. Barometric pressures, once again somewhat muted, were lowest in the early morning hours and highest in the later stages of the evening.

Wednesday and Thursday should be partly to mostly sunny with the cooler temps continuing, highs in the upper 70s and lows in the mid 50s. Warming up on Friday with partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid 80s and lows in the mid 60s, then further warming up into the upper 80s to around 90 on Saturday with more clouds than sun and a chance of showers and storms. Sunday should be quite warm into the upper 80s once again with partly cloudy skies but with lower rain chances.
