WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – FRIDAY JUNE 11, 2021

Friday was quite a change of pace with cloudy, much cooler and wetter conditions in place all day. The max temp only reached the upper 60s, and that was at midnight at the very beginning of the day. Minimum temps were reached in the evening. Dew points fell into 60s to correspond with the cooler air temperatures. We had a cloudy, damp day with frequent periods of light rain/showers (0.66″) and fog at times during the heavier activity .

The winds peaked earlier in the morning and remained in a persistent moist E direction all day. Barometric pressures also dropped the lowest in the early evening and highest at the very beginning of the day.

Cloudy and dry on Saturday with highs remaining in the 60s, lows around 60. Possibilities of PM showers/storms return on Sunday with mid 80s max temps and mid 60s for lows. Next week looks partly cloudy and warm early in the period in the mid 80s with a small cooling trend the rest of the week with highs around 80 and lows in the low-mid 60s.
