WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – THURSDAY JUNE 10, 2021

Thursday was a bit warmer than Wednesday. The max temp reached the upper mid 80s. Minimum temps were a bit cooler than Wednesday but were reached at the very
end of the day. Higher dew points in the 70s early yielded to lower dew points in the mid 60s by midnight. We had a partly to mostly cloudy, warm, humid day with
a few light afternoon and evening showers (0.12″).

The winds peaked at the same time as yesterday but veered over to the E. Barometric pressures were once again rather muted, but lowest in the mid afternoon and highest at the very beginning of the day, a significantly different pattern than we have had over the past several days.

Friday looks to be cloudy and much cooler with highs in the upper 60s, lows around 60 and good chances for showers.

Partly cloudy and dry on Saturday with highs in the low-mid 80s, lows in the mid 60s. Possibilities of PM showers/storms return on Sunday with similar temps to Saturday. Next week looks partly cloudy and warm early in the period in the mid 80s with storm chances on Tuesday, then cooler 70s on Wednesday under partially clearing, dry skies.
