WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SUNDAY JUNE 6, 2021
Sunday was the hottest day of the year so far with the 92.3 reading recorded today, eclipsing the previous high for the year of 90.2 recorded yesterday. We had a mostly sunny, hot, slightly more humid day. The max temp was reached in the mid afternoon once again with warmer low temps in the upper 60s reached during the usual early morning hours. The winds lessened today as they veered over to the SW. What wind we did have blew the strongest in the early afternoon hours. Barometric pressures were once again rather muted, lowest in the early evening and highest in the mid morning hours.
Monday looks sunny and hot with highs in the low-mid 90s with chances for afternoon/evening showers/storms and lows in the upper 60s.
Warm and humid through the rest of the week with highs around 90 and lows around 70 under partly cloudy skies and daily possibilities of showers and storms. By Thursday highs may only reach the low 80s, lows in the mid 60s with further cooling Friday and Saturday with highs possibly only reaching the 70s.
