Nothing closer than about 100 miles to my south that resembled snowfall, and none on the horizon either unfortunately. So far this season I have a whopping 3.0 inches of snow.
The greatest peak wind gust during the period was only 32 MPH from the NW on both Feb 14 and Feb 19. No severe weather was encountered this entire time period. We had a close call for snow with a storm to our south over parts of Eastern North Carolina and southern Virginia but all we got was clouds. somewhat nippy NE winds and relatively cold temps during the day with highs in the mid 30s.
I have completed my January climate summary and will be posting it here and elsewhere in the next few days. Cold and clear early on this Friday morning, current temperature at 22.7 deg at 0559
