My current online data (except for rainfall/snowfall – use the cocorahs link shown below for that dataset) is showing regularly on Weather Underground. My data is posted there every 5 minutes. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.” Data is online, normally just about in real-time now as it is being updated on a 5 minute interval. The web address for my data on weather underground is: https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KMDROCKV200

I contribute my precipitation data daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 on https://www.cocorahs.org/

Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values at times so should not be used except for general precipitation timing.

I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

Saturday has been mostly cloudy so far with some light showers with heavier showers expected this evening. Temperatures have cooled off considerably from Friday, with readings holding in the low-mid 60s all day. With heavier rain bringing in stiff cool NE breezes this evening we probably will drop into the upper 50s by midnight observation time.

Cloudy skies and even cooler temperatures with highs in the mid 50s and lows in the upper 40s are expected for Mother’s Day Sunday with an all day soaking rain most likely.

Monday looks to continue this cloudy, wet, and cool pattern with high temps in the upper 50s and lows in the upper 40s.

Tuesday should be mostly cloudy but dry and remaining cool, with high temps in the upper 50s and lows in the mid 40s.

Wednesday and Thursday should be not as cool, with highs in the upper 60s and lows in the low-mid 50s. Partly cloudy dry skies on Wednesday with cloudy skies and showers possible on Thursday.

Midnight Friday found the temperature to be 65.0°, relative humidity 95%, pressure rising at 30.01″ and the dew point at 63.5° under cloudy skies.

Currently at 1805 the temperature is 61.6° under cloudy, lightly rainy skies, relative humidity at 80%, barometric pressure falling at 29.99″, and the dew point at 55°.

Good early evening from the walrus on this increasingly damp  Saturday.
