Saturday was cloudy in the very early AM with light rain showers (.07″ – roughly from around midnight till about 0200) with clearing the rest of the overnight, then mostly sunny, cooler and breezy, helping dry things out some. Temperatures reached the upper 40s in the afternoon, after holding in the low-mid 40s overnight and most of the morning, then started
to fall in the late afternoon and especially the evening into the upper 30s. 

The maximum temperature was 47.7° at 1209.

The minimum temperature was 38.5° at 2341.

Dew point temperatures ranged from a high of 40° @ 0000 down to a low of 31° @ 2125.

Relative humidity values ranged from a high of 92% @ 0101 down to a low of 63% @ 1147.

Barometric pressure ranged from a low of 29.32″ @ 0001 up to a high of 30.13″ @ 2351. 

0.07″ of rain fell on Saturday. December 2018 now has a total of 5.66″ of precipitation (liquid water equivalent). The year-to-date precipitation is now 64.47″. Unfortunately snow is not in future forecasts for the foreseeable future through Christmas, so a White Christmas looks rather unlikely for our immediate area.

Please remember that Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket is producing erratic values so should not be used save for general precipitation timing. For example one week ago it recorded 5.62″ for the day, clearly a significantly higher amount when compared to my 4 inch gauge total that day (3.24″). I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my
4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40s and lows in the mid 30s. There is a slight chance for a few light showers and/or snow flurries in the evening but no measurable snow is expected locally.

Christmas Eve Monday should be partly cloudy and a bit cooler with highs in the low 40s and lows in th the upper-mid 20s.

Christmas Day Tuesday looks to be partly to mostly cloudy with highs around 40° and lows in the upper 20s. Little chances for snow here today, unfortunately.

Wednesday should be sunny with highs in the mid 40s and lows in the upper 20s. 

Thursday should be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid 40s and lows in the mid-upper 30s.   

Friday looks to be milder, cloudy, and with chances of rain, highs in the mid-upper 50s and lows in the upper 30s. 

Saturday’s midnight observations included a temperature of 38.8°, relative humidity 75%, barometric pressure 30.12″ and rising, with a dew point of 31.6° under clear skies.

Currently at 0947 the temperature is 39.8°, dew point temperature 31°, relative humidity 71%, and the barometric pressure at 30.25″ and rising under clear, sunny skies. During the overnight, temperatures fell into the low 30s under clear skies.
