A (once again) partly cloudy, pleasant and dry weather update for West Rockville Maryland for Sunday August 27 2017

Sunday once again featured partly cloudy skies and pleasant air and dew point temperatures. High temperatures reached the mid 70s, with dew points in the lower 60s to mid 50s. Now at 0433 we have fair skies with temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s with dew points in the mid-upper 50s. The Sunday minimum temperature from the VP2 in the shelter on the ground nearby (59.5°) was recorded at 0614 while the maximum temperature (76.1°) was recorded at 1151. Dew point temps were about the same today, ranging from 64° down to 54°. Relative humidity values were roughly the same as yesterday’s (91% – 49%). Barometric values stayed steady today from yesterday, ranging from 30.25″ at 0959 down to 30.17″ at 1852.

I rose later today and got a shower in. I have an apartment inspection sometime in the morning on Monday and will be scrambling out of bed to open the door for the maintenance and management team performing the inspection and changing the cooling/heating unit’s filter. I washed a bit of carpet where I recently spilled coffee, and cleaned up in the bathroom from a recent potty incident. I just ate dinner of chicken enchiladas that I opted for since I had guacamole to garnish it with. I will have the originally planned for jambalaya tomorrow. I talked with with Ray for a while, mostly about football. I watched a good part of the exciting Vikings/49ers exhibition game, won by Minnesota at the last minute 32-31. I also watched the Big Ten Network later, watching condensed replays of the Badgers wins in the first 2 Big Ten Championship games back in 2011-12. I had a chat with Robin briefly while she was on her way to work. We both have surprises coming in the mail on Monday from each other, according to USPS tracking info online. I later on finished up the guacamole with some triscuits. I continue to follow the tremendous hurricane (now tropical storm) Harvey coverage on TWC and local TV Channel 4 and some network coverage on location in coastal Texas as much as I can. I had some prune juice and spicy low-sodium V8 in the later evening. I had my usual water intake and vitamins and medicines that I take every day.

We now have fair skies with temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s at 0433 Monday. Monday should have sunny skies with scattered clouds with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the low 60s. On Tuesday what is now TD 10 and may soon become tropical storm Irma may get close enough as it moves up the coast to give us a 50 POP for showers and cloudy skies with high temps in the low 70s and lows in the upper 50s. Wednesday should be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the mid 60s. Warming up a bit more on Thursday under partly cloudy skies and an isolated chance for a shower (20 POP) we should be getting up to the lower 80s and lows around 60°. Cooling back down into the low-mid 70s on Friday under sunny skies with scattered clouds at times.

On Weatherbug radar at 0433 the radar is showing rain off the Carolinas coast and also showers over parts of the Midwest, mostly over MI, IN, and IL at this time. The immediate 4 state region is clear of any rain returns.
