WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – THANKSGIVING THURSDAY NOVEMBER 25, 2021

My wrist discomfort bothered me a bit less today but I still have weakness with certain muscle movements/actions that was more troubling at times. Wearing the wrist brace overnight and applied the Voltaren early today. Occasional back discomfort continued unfortunately. I still need to make tonight’s post shorter as I have been the past week to somewhat reduce my typing efforts plus I had a tiring day preparing, eating and cleaning up for Thanksgiving dinner.

Thursday was partly to mostly cloudy, still cold in the morning but milder in the afternoon and evening with a further slackening of winds. I reached the mid 50s mark for today’s high in the mid-afternoon with dew points ranging from the mid 20s in the very early morning up to the low 40s in the very late evening, some 24 hours later. Today’s low temperature was milder than yesterday’s, in the low 30s at freezing right at sunrise.

The peak wind gust for the day (10 MPH) was lighter than yesterday, “peaking” in the later mid-afternoon, veering to a warmer S direction from yesterday. Barometric pressures were highest in the very early morning hours while the lowest was reached in the late evening hours, just before midnight.

Friday should be a bit showery at the very beginning with the passage of a cold front with a cloudy AM the clearing, breezy and cooler in the PM with highs holding in the 40s and slipping down to around freezing by the end of the day. Saturday, Monday and Tuesday should be partly cloudy and seasonably cold with highs in the mid 40s and lows in the upper 20s. Sunday should be a bit milder with highs in the low 50s with more clouds than sun and lows around freezing. The chances of snow during this period have left us unfortunately.
