WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 3, 2021
Wednesday was partly cloudy, dry and cool with fresher winds than yesterday. Clouds in the evening were causing some snow to fall above us but the air was too dry and temperatures too warm to reach us on the ground. I reached the upper 40s for today’s high with dew points again in the 30s falling into the upper 20s at times in the late afternoon and evening. We peaked with our maximum temperature (49.2) of the day in the mid afternoon while the low temperature was reached in the mid 30s with scattered frost in the early morning hours.
The peak wind gust for the day (26 MPH) was stronger than yesterday, peaking in the mid-day, maintaining the colder NW direction from yesterday. Barometric pressures were highest in the morning while the lowest was reached in the early morning hours just after midnight.
Thursday through Saturday should be partly to mostly sunny and dry with highs in the low-mid 50s and lows around freezing to the mid 30s. A gradual warmup should follow over the next few days thereafter with dry conditions continuing.
