WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SATURDAY OCTOBER 30, 2021

Saturday was mostly cloudy, a bit milder, but dry and a bit less breezy than yesterday. I reached the lower 60s for today’s high with dew points staying in the 50s. We peaked with our max temperature (61.4) of the day in the early afternoon while the low temperature in the mid 50s was reached in the very early overnight hours. Coastal (tidal) flooding has continued along some sections of the Chesapeake Bay and Potomac River.

The peak wind gust for the day (17 MPH) was lighter than yesterday, peaking in the morning right around sunrise, veering around to a S direction. Barometric pressures
were highest in mid evening while the lowest was reached in the early morning. Pressure values stayed relatively low as a trough remained over the area.

Sunday and Monday should be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the low-mid 60s and lows in the upper 40s. Cloudy skies on Tuesday with rain and cooler mid-upper 50s for highs and lows in the 40s. Wednesday and Thursday should be partly cloudy and will feature the coolest temperatures of the season so far, with highs only in the
low 50s and lows dropping down to more November-like mid-upper 30s.
