WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SUNDAY OCTOBER 24, 2021

My back pain has continued to persist at times and now my wrist/arm pain has returned somewhat. I am treating my pain at times with rest and acetaminophen, and used the wrist brace for a few hours today. I encounter discomfort in certain body positions at times during the day, especially when first getting up, which has caused me major problems today. Perhaps application of a heating pad, alternating with a cold pack, or a nice back massage could help. I must cut back on this post some to reduce the amount of typing needed.

Sunday was partly cloudy and a tad milder than yesterday with a bit less wind and a trace of rain sometime in the afternoon. I reached the mid 60s for today’s high with dew points a bit higher than yesterday, ranging through the mid 40s into the mid 50s. We peaked with our max temperature (66.6) of the day in the later mid-afternoon while the low temperature in the upper 40s was reached in the very early morning hours.

The peak wind gust for the day (19 MPH) was lower than yesterday and not as fresh during the day, peaking in the early mid-afternoon, veering around to a S direction. Barometric pressures were highest in the mid morning while the lowest was reached in the late evening.

Warmer and mostly cloudy on Monday with good chances for showers with highs in the mid-upper 70s and lows in the mid 50s. Tuesday should cool down into the lower 60s for highs and mid-upper 40s for lows with cloudy skies and continuing chances for rain. Wednesday and Thursday should moderate a little with highs in the low-mid 60s and lows in the upper 40s-low 50s under dry, partly cloudy skies. Clouds and rain should return on Friday with highs and lows in the 50s.

  1. Kevin, have you ever considered medical marijuana? I don’t know if it’s legal where you live, but if it is, you should check into it. I know a few who use it and they say it is better than any Rx pain drug on the market.
