WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – TUESDAY OCTOBER 19, 2021

My back pain has continued to persist at times. I am treating it at times with rest and acetaminophen. I encounter discomfort in certain body positions at times during the day, especially when first getting up, which has caused me problems on occasion. Perhaps application of a heating pad or alternatively a cold pack might help.

Tuesday was partly cloudy and a bit warmer with slowly diminishing breezes. I reached about 70 for today’s high with dew points still holding in the 40s all day. We peaked with our max temperature (69.7) of the day later mid afternoon while the low temperature in the lower 40s was reached in the early morning a bit less than one hour before sunrise. It was our coldest minimum of the month/fall season so far. We should not see any more of those cooler minimums the rest of the week.

The peak wind gust for the day (26 MPH) was not as strong as yesterday but still fresh at times, peaking in the mid afternoon, maintaining a W direction. Barometric pressures were highest in the later morning while the lowest was reached in the later mid afternoon.

This week ahead looks like a great fall week. Wednesday and Thursday look to be sunny with highs in the low-mid 70s with lows in the 50-55 range. On Friday through Sunday temperatures look to be falling back into the mid-upper 60s while lows should be in the mid-upper 40s under partly cloudy skies with a slight possibility of a shower on Friday.
