WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SUNDAY OCTOBER 10, 2021

My arthritis wrist discomfort problem continued today along with occasional back pain. I had to continue to treat it once again with rest and my wrist brace along with some doses of acetaminophen. I still encountered some discomfort most all day, and I must continue to shorten this report somewhat to ease the discomfort of typing too much.

Sunday was cloudy in the AM with some occasional light drizzle, but with partial PM clearing that brightened the skies a bit, mild with very similar statistics to the past 3 days for the other parameters. I reached about 70 for today’s high with dew points holding in the low-mid 60s all day. We peaked with our max temperature (69.7) of the day in the early mid afternoon with the low temperature only down to the lower mid 60s a few hours before sunrise.

The peak wind gust for the day (16 MPH) was a bit higher than yesterday but still light, “peaking” in the late afternoon, maintaining an E direction from yesterday. Barometric pressures were highest very early in the AM at midnight while the lowest was reached in the late afternoon.

Partly cloudy, dry skies should hold Monday through Friday. Highs through the period should be in the lower 70s through Tuesday with upper 70s to lower 80s the rest of the week with lows mostly in the 60-65 range.
