WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 6, 2021

Wednesday was cloudy once again, with some early morning fog, but cooler and damp as rain did fall in the area, less than yesterday, but still quite lightly (.03″). I only reached the upper 60s for today’s high with dew points holding in the mid 60s all day. We peaked with our max temperature (69.2) of the day in the later mid afternoon with the low temperature only down to the mid 60s a few hours after sunrise.

The peak wind gust for the day (11 MPH) was even lighter than yesterday, “peaking” in the overnight, maintaining the damp E direction from yesterday. Barometric
pressures were highest in the late morning while the lowest was reached in the early morning overnight hours.

Highs through Friday should be in the mid 70s with lows in the low 60s. Partly to mostly cloudy conditions should persist Thursday and Friday but with lower chances
for rain. Rain looks to be returning over the weekend on both Saturday and Sunday with highs around 70 and lows around 60 during this rather unsettled week.
