WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 8, 2021
Wednesday was a partly cloudy, warmer day with late evening clouds and rain showers (0.24″) just before and at midnight. We reached the mid 80s for highs with dew points rising from the low 60s early up to the lower 70s by late afternoon. We peaked with a warmer max temperature (85.5) of the day in the later mid-afternoon. The low temperature for the day (in the mid 60s) was reached in the early morning almost 2 hours before sunrise.
The peak wind gust for the day (22 MPH) was the same speed as yesterday, peaking in the later afternoon, veering around to a S direction. Barometric pressures were highest in the very early morning while the lowest was reached in the late afternoon hours.
Early morning showers on Thursday should end around sunrise with clouds persisting most of the day. Friday starts a sunny, dry period through mid-week next week, with with highs in the mid-upper 70s on Friday and lows in the mid-upper 50s, then temperatures climbing each day through the 80s till getting close to 90 by next Wednesday. Lows should climb slowly through the period through the 60s.
