WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SATURDAY JULY 24, 2021
Saturday was a bit warmer with dew points starting to climb in the PM after one more comfortable morning. We warmed up to the mid 80s in the mid-afternoon. The day featured partly to mostly cloudy skies, rising dew points and a light shower in the late afternoon clouds. The daily minimum temperature in the mid 60s was reached in the early morning before sunrise.
The winds increased a bit, veering to a warmer southerly direction, peaking in the early mid-afternoon. Barometric pressures were highest in the very early morning while the lowest was in the later stages of the evening.
Sunday through Thursday should be partly to mostly sunny, hot and humid with highs in the low 90s and lows in the upper 60s to around 70. Chances of showers and storms are only in the forecast for Sunday at this point.

Currently at 0224 AM EDT Sunday we have partly cloudy skies with a temperature of 72.1, barometer 29.99″ and falling, relative humidity 85%, dew point 67, winds S-SW at 0-5 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
