WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – MONDAY JULY 19, 2021
Monday continued to give us a brief break from the heat and humidity but did warm back up a bit into the mid 80s. The day featured partly to mostly cloudy skies, still pleasant temperatures and similar moderate dew points with yesterday. Max temps reached the mid 80s by mid afternoon while the daily minimum temperature in the upper 60s was reached in the early morning right after sunrise.
The winds lessened from the W, peaking in the later afternoon. Barometric pressures were highest in the mid morning while lowest in the early evening hours.
Tuesday and Thursday look to be mostly sunny with highs of 90-95 with lows in the low 70s. Wednesday looks to have similar temps as both Tuesday and Thursday with partly cloudy skies and a 40 POP for PM thunderstorms.

Currently at 0249 AM EDT Tuesday we have clear skies with a temperature of 71.0, barometer 29.98″ and falling, relative humidity 88%, dew point 67, winds W-NW at 0-5 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
