WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SUNDAY JULY 18, 2021
Sunday finally gave us some relief from the heat and humidity. The day featured partly to mostly cloudy skies, pleasant temperatures and lower dew points. Max temps only reached the upper 70s by late afternoon while the daily minimum temperature in the upper 60s was reached in the early morning right after sunrise.
The winds blew strong this morning for a time from the NW at 0902. Barometric pressures were highest in the late morning while lowest in the overnight very early morning hours.
Monday looking to be warmer with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the lower 70s under partly cloudy, dry skies. Tuesday and Thursday look to be mostly sunny with highs around 90 and lows in the low 70s both days. Wednesday looks to have similar temps as both Tuesday and Thursday with a 40 POP for PM thunderstorms.

Currently at 0320 AM EDT Monday we have clear skies with a temperature of 69.7, barometer 30.05″ and falling, relative humidity 86%, dew point 65, winds N-NW at 0-5 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
