WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – TUESDAY JULY 13, 2021

Tuesday continued the hot and humid pattern of the week with partly cloudy skies, hot temperatures and high dew points. Max temps reached the lower mid-90s by late
mid-afternoon while the daily minimum temperature in the mid-70s was reached during the usual time in the early morning right around sunrise.

At least the winds picked up today into the moderate range, veering to a southwesterly direction. Barometric pressures were highest mid morning while lowest in the early evening.

Wednesday through Friday should be partly to mostly sunny, hot and humid with highs in the 90-95 range with lows in the 70-75 range. Saturday and Sunday look to be a bit “cooler” with highs in the 85-90 range with chances of showers and storms under partly to mostly cloudy skies and lows around 70.

Currently at 0154 AM EDT Wednesday we have clear skies with a temperature of 79.8, barometer 30.15″ and rising, relative humidity 77%, dew point 72, winds S-SW at 0-5 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
