WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – INDEPENDENCE DAY SUNDAY JULY 4, 2021
4th of July Sunday gave us one more relatively nice day though max temps did rise into the mid 80s under mostly partly to sunny, dry skies. High temps reached the mid 80s by late afternoon with the daily min temp in the lower 60s reached in the early morning well before sunrise.
Of note we have now lost 7 days of morning sunrise light since late mid June while only losing one minute on the evening sunlight during that same time period.
The winds calmed down into the light moderate range peaking in the late afternoon, veering slightly to a northwesterly direction. Barometric pressures were highest in the latest stages of the evening just prior to midnight with the lowest in the overnight/very early morning hours.
Partly to mostly sunny skies with heat and humidity returning Monday through Wednesday with highs of 90 on Monday, mid 90s on both Tuesday and Wednesday before cooling slightly into the upper 80s on Thursday with showers and storms possible. Lows should mostly be between 70 and 75 through the period.
