WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – WEDNESDAY JUNE 30, 2021
Wednesday was hot and humid for a good part of the day, with highs reaching the mid-90s by mid-afternoon. Partly sunny skies gave way to mostly cloudy, threatening
looking clouds in the late afternoon that cooled us off a bit but yielded only a trace of rain in a few sprinkles. Minimum temps held from yesterday with the lowest readings in the mid 70s, occurring in the early morning hours at sunrise.
The winds picked up with the threatening clouds, with the 30 MPH NW PWG in the early evening the highest I have had since the 45 MPH PWG I had back in the strong thunderstorm on the 21st. Barometric pressures were highest in the early morning and lowest with the clouds in the early evening.
Cloudy skies Thursday with mostly cloudy skies, showers and storms likely at times, highs in the mid-upper 80s, lows in the upper 60s. Cloudy and cooler on Friday with
highs in the upper 70s and lows in the lower 60s. Saturday and Sunday now look to be dry. with partly cloudy skies, highs in the low-mid 80s, lows in the upper 50s
