WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SUNDAY JUNE 13, 2021
Sunday was a bit milder than Saturday with max temps in the upper 70s reached midday before the clouds and light rain (0.16″) came in later in the afternoon.
Minimum temps in the mid 60s were reached in the early morning hours. Dew points rose into the low 70s in the mid afternoon during the light showery activity.
The winds increased slightly as they veered around to a more westerly component in the afternoon. Barometric pressures rose a bit, still somewhat muted, peaking in the early afternoon and lowest in the early evening.
Monday should be partly cloudy and dry with highs around 80 and lows in the mid 60s. Tuesday should feature partly cloudy skies with highs around 80 and lows in the low 60s with a bit of a chance of storms overnight Monday. Wednesday and Thursday should be partly to mostly sunny with cooler temps, highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s on Wednesday and Thursday. Warming up on Friday with highs in the mid 80s and lows in the mid 60s, then further warming up to around 90 on Saturday with chances of showers and storms in the afternoon and lows in the low-mid 60s.

Currently at 0529 AM EDT Monday we have cloudy skies with a temperature of 66.7, barometer 29.86″ and steady, relative humidity 89%, dew point 63, winds SSW at less than 5 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
