WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – MONDAY JUNE 7, 2021
Monday was not quite as hot as Sunday, only reaching 90 as a rounded value (89.6). We had a partly sunny, still hot, more humid day. The max temp was reached in the early afternoon as clouds moved in a bit later in the afternoon putting a cap on the rising temps. Minimum temps were warmer with the higher dew points holding in the 70s. reached during the usual early morning hours. The winds picked up today as they veered over to the W. Barometric pressures were once again rather muted, lowest in the early evening and highest in the mid morning hours, as has been the pattern since Saturday.
Tuesday looks sunny and hot with highs in the low 90s with chances for afternoon/evening showers/storms and lows in the low 70s.
Warm and humid Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s under partly cloudy skies and daily possibilities of showers and storms. By Friday highs look to only reach the mid 70s, lows in the low 60s with mostly cloudy skies and good chances of showers and storms. Cloudy with showers on Saturday and Sunday with highs only reaching the low-mid 70s, lows around 60.
