Currently at 0409 PM EDT Thursday partly cloudy skies with the temperature at 52.7, barometer 30.26″ and steady, relative humidity 56% , dew point 37 , winds E-NE at about 3-5 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.

Today’s feature image is one taken around sunset Sunday evening looking west highlighting my “official cocorahs 4-inch rain gauge” through the generally cloudy, dry skies at the time showing a very green groundcover. The “holly” adorning the rain gauge mount is, however, artificial.
