My current downstairs station data is now showing regularly on Weather Underground. My data is posted there every 5 minutes. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called Gardens of Traville. Data is online, available in real-time as it is being updated on a 5 minute interval. The web address for my data on weather underground is
https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMDROCKV200 .

I contribute my precipitation data daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 and can be found on
http://www.cocorahs.org .

Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values on most days (when I have had rain that is) so should not be used except for general precipitation timing.

I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my official precipitation total each day.

The pre-holiday preparations were finished early Christmas Eve. I made an omelette sandwich on a toasted everything bagel on Christmas Eve with egg, turkey sausage and cheese along with a pot of coffee. On Christmas Day my daughter Tracy brought over Christmas Dinner, helped out by her great dog Chloe to give me a nice surprise. I had a nice piece of prime rib with horseradish sauce, asparagus wrapped in bacon, and roasted mini-potatoes. She also brought over a nice 12 pack of holiday IPA beer, and a piece of pumpkin cheesecake for dessert, which I saved for Thursday’s dessert when I had more room, though I do have quite a bit of the prime rib left. I had eaten a bowl of cereal and bananas a few hours before dinner, so that tamed my dinner hunger down a bit. I had the rest of my baked barbecue sauced chicken thighs along with the remaining mushroom and zucchini infused broccoli cheddar rice a roni for Thursday’s dinner, after much rest and laying low earlier Thursday due to a sore back from sleeping too much on it the night before, and some intestinal problems caused by who knows what. Other than the visit from Tracy and Chloe on Christmas Day, I had no visitors during the 3 day period. I chatted with Robin and Gideon a few times Christmas Day on facetime, and my sister Deryl and parts of her family and Marty and Ray briefly. I acknowledged the email receipts I got from many that received my Jacquie Lawson e-Christmas notes earlier in the week, and got several nice thank yous from many of them.
