My current downstairs station data is now showing regularly on Weather Underground. My data is posted there every 5 minutes. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called Gardens of Traville. Data is online, available in real-time as it is being updated on a 5 minute interval. The web address for my data on weather underground is: https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KMDROCKV200
I contribute my precipitation data daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 and can be found on the web at https://www.cocorahs.org
Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values on most days (when I have had rain that is) so should not be used except for general precipitation timing.
I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my official precipitation total each day.
Thursday was a busy day at times. I got up in time to take a shower before our weekly evening trivia game, then had two cheeseburgers grilled on the Foreman grill and some tater tots cooked in the oven. I had plenty of water throughout the day, and also washed my bedding. The scheduled visit by my sanitary engineer was postponed till Saturday afternoon as we couldn’t mesh with our available times on Thursday. I talked with Ray about the upcoming Friday inclement weather, and with Robin late on her way home from work. Gideon has been with his father since Tuesday, but Robin will get him Friday morning to return him to their house, grandma and the pets. They might be visiting Santa sometime during the day.
Friday has been cloudy so far with light rain starting to fall over the past hour or so. There was a thought it might start as freezing rain, but temps have risen to above freezing and no freezing has been noted. Periods of rain with high temps in the mid 40s should be the rule most of the rest of the day.
Saturday should feature clouds and more rain, milder with highs in the upper 40s and lows in the upper 30s.
Sunday should be partly to mostly sunny and seasonable, with highs in the upper 40s and lows in the low 30s.
Monday should find clouds and rain returning, with highs around 40 and lows in the upper 30s.
Tuesday should be cloudy and rainy, milder, with high temps in the mid 50s and lows dropping to the upper 20s late.
Wednesday should be mostly sunny and cold, with highs in the mid 30s and lows in the lower 20s.
