Monday was partly cloudy overnight into the afternoon, then turned cloudy in the late afternoon into the early evening. High temps reached the mid 80s in the mid afternoon after an early AM min around 70.  Dew points were in the mid 60s in the early AM hours then rose into the low 70s by mid-afternoon, dropping down into the upper mid 60 by midnight observation. 

The maximum temperature was 85.4 degrees at 1458.

The minimum temperature was 70.2 degrees at 0406.

The dew point temperatures ranged from a low of 65 degrees @ 0537 up to a high of 72 degrees @ 1651.

The relative humidity values ranged from a high of 88% @ 0204 down to a low of 55% @ 1448.

The barometric pressure ranged from a high of 30.00 inches @ 1051 down to a low of 29.92 inches @ 1618.

There was no precipitation on Monday. There has been a total of 1.61 inches of rain so far in August. The year-to-date total is 31.30 inches.

Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values every day of late so should not be used except for general precipitation timing. (for example, it recorded 2.15″ of rain on Sunday, with a 16.94″/hour rain rate at 0021 very early on that day that was way over what actually occurred)

I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

I had some delicious tortellini over sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms spaghetti sauce for dinner. I had never had this before, and made a double batch so I can have the rest for another dinner. We have a NATIONAL NIGHT OUT celebration party in the courtyard outside my balcony starting at 5 PM of paella, wine and live jazz music.

It has been a partly cloudy, warmer Tuesday, with temps currently in the upper 80s with dew points in the upper 60s. 

Wednesday should be hot and partly cloudy with highs around 90 and lows around 70 with a 60 POP for showers/storms.

Thursday through Sunday should feature mostly to partly sunny, dry skies with slightly cooler temps in the mid 80s
by day, mid 60s by night.

Midnight Monday recorded a temperature of 74.1 degrees, relative humidity 81%, pressure falling at 29.94 inches and the dew point temperature at 67.9 degrees under partly cloudy skies.

Currently at 1454 the temperature is 87.7 degrees under patly cloudy skies, relative humidity at 50%, barometric pressure falling at 29.82 inches, and the dew point temperature at 67 degrees.
