A gradual dew point temperature rise all day helped to make things a bit more humid by early afternoon. They started out in the low 60s in the early AM then gradually rose into the upper 60s by early afternoon and held there the rest of the day.
The maximum temperature was 89.5 degrees at 1646

My current online data (except for rainfall/snowfall – use the cocorahs link shown below for that dataset) is showing regularly on Weather Underground. My data is posted there every 5 minutes. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.” Data is online, available in real-time as it is being updated on
a 5 minute interval. The web address for my data on weather underground is:
https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KMDROCKV200
I contribute my precipitation data daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 on https://www.cocorahs.org/
Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values every day of late so should not be used except for general precipitation timing.
I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.
Wednesday was a busy day. Marty was over to help put togethre my new (walker) rollator and tighten some other things in the apartment, then I left around 1400 for a Podiatry appointment and to pick up some new cpap supplies, in the sleep center one floor up. Turns out I lost 26 pounds since my last weigh in and had a good blood pressure reading of 123/61. and a great toenail clipping and good foot health check. I have been working all night on compiling my trivia questions to give to the group of trivia players at 1900 later on Thursday. I had some barbecue baked beans and 2 jalapeno cheddar sausages for dinner, after a few sandwiches earlier – chicken and a pastrami reuben at my Kaiser offices food kiosk.
Thursday through Sunday should be sunny to partly cloudy, hot and humid, with highs of 90°-95° and lows in the upper 60s to mid 70s. Unfortunately it appears that June will finish out with the start of a heat wave that looks to extend well into July, past Independence Day. Gosh do I hate this heat and humidity!
Midnight Wednesday recorded a temperature of 76.5°, relative humidity 74%, pressure rising at 30.10 inches and a dew point temperature of 67.6° under clear skies.
Currently at 0721 the temperature is 74.4° under sunny skies, relative humidity at 80%, barometric pressure rising at 30.17 inches, and a dew point temperature of 68°.
Good morning from the walrus on this Thursday
