Partly to mostly sunny, warm, a bit less humid update for Saturday, June 1, 2019 from West Rockville Maryland

Saturday started out the month of June with mostly similar conditions to Friday, with comfortable temps, relatively low dew points, and mostly to partly cloudy skies all day as storms stayed to the north, mostly up in part of Pennsylvania.  Temperatures started out in the mid 60s in the early AM, rising to the lower mid 80s by the mid-afternoon, then slid down into the 70s in the evening to observation time. Dew points started out in the low 60s early, lowering to the mid 50s by mid-day then rising a bit to around 60° in the evening with some clouds from the storms to the north coming in a bit. There were some storms in the region but they were scattered about and not in close proximity to my location.

The maximum temperature was 83.2° at 1605.

The minimum temperature was 65.8° at 0621.

The dew point temperatures ranged from a high of 63° @ 0214 down to a low of 54° @ 1215.

The relative humidity values ranged from a high of 80% @ 0226 down to a low of 39% @ 1406.

The barometric pressure ranged from a low of 29.78″ @ 0239 up to a high of 29.87″ @ 1044.

No precipitation fell on Saturday to start the month of June off on a dry note. May finished up with a total rainfall of 6.24″. The year-to-date total is 20.29″.

My current online data (except for rainfall/snowfall – use the cocorahs link shown below for that dataset) is showing regularly on Weather Underground. My data is posted there every 5 minutes. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.” Data is online, normally just about in real-time now as it is being updated on a 5 minute interval. The web address for my data on weather underground is:
https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KMDROCKV200

I contribute my precipitation data daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 on https://www.cocorahs.org/

Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values every day of late so should not be used except for general precipitation timing.

I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.
