Mostly sunny, not as warm, drier update for Friday, May 24, 2019 from West Rockville Maryland
Friday was mostly sunny, not as warm or as humid as yesterday, and dry. Temperatures were in the upper mid 60s in the early AM and rose to the low 80s by the mid-late afternoon. Dew point temperatures dropped from the mid 60s at midnight into the 50s by mid morning and held there the rest of the day.
The maximum temperature was 81.7° at 1702.
The minimum temperature was 67.8° at 0424.
The dew point temperatures ranged from a high of 64° @ 0000 down to a low of 53° @ 1910.
The relative humidity values ranged from a high of 94% @ 0000 down to a low of 39% @ 1715.
The barometric pressure ranged from a low of 29.92″ @ 0325 up to a high of 30.10″ @ 2307.
There was no falling on Friday. May has a total rainfall of 5.13″. The year-to-date total is 19.18″.

Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values every day of late so should not be used except for general precipitation timing.
I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

Sunday should be summery hot, with highs around 90° and lows in the mid 60s with increasing chances of showers and thunderstorms .
Right now Memorial Day Monday looks partly sunny and warm, with highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid 60s.
Thereafter, the midweek period looks partly cloudy, dry but hot with high temps reaching or exceeding the 90° mark (perhaps 95° on Wednesday) and lows in the 70° – 75° range with a slight chance of a shower on Tuesday.
Midnight Friday recorded a temperature of 69.3°, relative humidity 59%, pressure rising at 30.10″ and a dew point temperature of 55° under partly cloudy skies.
Currently at 0438 the temperature is 67.3° under cloudy skies, relative humidity at 67%, barometric pressure rising at 30.15″, and the dew point at 56°.
