Sunday was a very cloudy and very foggy day with occasional light rain showers (0.16″) with temperatures slowly increasing through the upper-low 40s in the very early AM till maxing out in the mid 50s in the mid-late evening. The fog was quite dense much of the day, we were really socked in as the warm front to the west struggled to pass through our area. Forecasts for highs in the upper 50s-mid 60s made a few days ago never materialized, mostly due to the total lack of sun and the low stratus clouds we had all day.

The maximum temperature was 56.1° at 2103. 

The minimum temperature was 43.4° at 0000.

Dew point temperatures ranged from a low of 42° @ 0000 up to a high of 55° @ 2030.

Relative humidity values ranged from a low of 96% @ 0000 up to a high of 97% @ 0203.

Barometric pressure ranged from a high of 29.93″ @ 0000 down to a low of 29.63″ @ 1654.

0.16″ of rain fell on Sunday. November 2018 ended up with 7.76″ of rainfall. December 2018 now has a total of 0.44″ of rain.  The year-to-date precipitation is now 59.25″.

Please remember that Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge. And the tipping bucket is producing significantly higher values than my 4 inch gauge. I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

Monday should be partly cloudy and a bit cooler, with highs in the mid 50s and lows in the low 30s

Tuesday will be partly cloudy and colder, with highs in the low 40s and lows in the mid 20s but no chance of rain or snow.

Wednesday will be  cloudy and still colder, with highs in the mid-upper 30s and lows in the low-mid 20s.
There’s now a 20 POP for rain/snow, but stay tuned for next weekend on those chances possibly increasing.

Thursday should be partly cloudy with highs around 40° and lows around 30°.

Friday should be partly cloudy and a bit colder, with highs in the upper-mid 30s and lows in the mid 20s.  

Sunday’s midnight observations included a temperature of 55.4°, relative humidity 96%, barometric pressure 29.64″ and steady, and a dew point of 54.3° with partly cloudy skies.

Currently at 0715 the temperature is 47.3°, dew point temperature 44°, relative humidity 88%, and barometric pressure at 29.74″ and rising under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures dropped off from the mid 50s into the upper 40s with ceilings lifting from the fog most of Sunday.
