You can get my VP2 data on Weatherlink. I have migrated over to Weatherlink 2.0 so I have a new link for my data.
You can now access the data through: https://www.weatherlink.com/map/5aa32916-94c7-4a40-a2d0-0b74abfc8d8f

I am posting daily to weather underground. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.” Data is online, normally just about in real-time. The web address for my data on weather underground is: https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KMDROCKV200

I contribute daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 on https://www.cocorahs.org/

Please remember that Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge. And the tipping bucket is producing significantly higher values than my 4″ gauge. I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4″ CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

No rain fell on Monday with November 2018 rainfall still at 5.76″ with the year-to-date precipitation also still at 56.81″.

Turning cooler on Tuesday under mostly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 40s and lows dropping into the upper 20s.

Wednesday should be mostly sunny and cooler, with highs in the upper 40s and lows in the mid 20s.

Thanksgiving Thursday should be sunny and colder, with highs in the low 30s and lows in the upper teens with brisk winds at times driving our wind chills well down into the 20s if not the teens. It should be our coldest Thanksgiving in over 20 years. More details will follow later in the week.

(Black) Friday will still be mostly sunny and still cold, with highs in the mid 30s and lows in the mid 20s.

Saturday will warm to about 50° for a high, around 40° for a low, cloudy, and a 100 POP for rain.

Monday’s midnight observations include a temperature of 46.3°, relative humidity of 92%,
barometric pressure of 29.91″ and falling, and a dew point of 44° with mostly cloudy skies.

Currently at 1713 the temperature is 44.1°, dew point temperature 33°, relative humidity 66%, and barometric pressure at 30.11″ and rising.

Mostly dry conditions will be prevalent over Thanksgiving week until Saturday’s rains.  Unfortunately very little moisture available for snow on Thanksgiving, despite the temperatures being cold enough to support snow.

The early evening sky is remaining mostly cloudy (altostratus broken overcast). Temperatures are currently holding in the mid 40s just after sunset.

Good evening from the Walrus on this Tuesday.

Kevin
