You can get my VP2 data on Weatherlink. I have migrated over to Weatherlink 2.0 so I have a new link for my data.

I am posting daily to weather underground. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.”
Data is online, normally just about in real-time. The web address for my data on weather underground is:

I contribute daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 on https://www.cocorahs.org/

Please remember that Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge. I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4″ CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

Tuesday had no rain. October 2018 has 1.39″ of rainfall at my location with my year-to-date precipitation at 49.81″.

Tuesday was sunny and mild with highs in the mid 60s and lows in the low 40s. Overnight Tuesday into Wednesday skies have been clear and temperatures falling through the 40s.

Wednesday should be sunny and cooler, with highs in the mid 50s and lows in the mid 30s with another shot at frost in scattered, favorable locations.

Thursday should be mostly sunny and cool, with highs in the mid 50s and lows in the upper 30s.

Friday should turn cloudy with a 90 POP for PM rain as a complex storm moves in for Friday and Saturday containing some remnants of Hurricane Willa, now currently in Mexico and soon to be in parts of Texas. It should travel east and change into a nor’easter off the SE US coast and then move up the coast and into our area. Cooler on Friday with low 50s for highs, mid 40s for lows which will be quite chilly during the rainy periods.

Saturday looks even chillier with a 100 POP for rain, with highs holding mostly in the 40s all day. The track is still being fine-tuned so how much rain we will get and for how long it will stick around is still under negotiation by local forecasters, so stay in touch with the latest information.

Sunday looks to remain mostly cloudy with highs in the mid 50s and lows in the mid 40s.

Currently at 0525 the temperature is 42.8°, dew point temperature 37°, relative humidity 80%, and barometric pressure at 30.19″ and rising. Fall color has been popping out locally the past few days, as shown in today’s featured image.

Currently the sky is clear and temperatures are chilly.

Good morning from the Walrus early on this Wednesday.

Kevin
