Remember now you can get the VP2 data on Weatherlink. You can access the data through http://www.weatherlink.com/user/walrusman444 I am posting daily to weather underground.

My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.”

Data is online, normally just about in real-time. The web address for my data on weather underground is: https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard ID=KMDrockv200#history/

I contribute daily to cocorahs as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 on https://www.cocorahs.org/

Please remember that Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge. I actually use the data I post to cocorahs from my 4″ cocorahs gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

September monthly precipitation has risen to 8.63″ with my year-to-date precipitation now at 46.71″. More rain on Thursday and early Friday is expected, so these totals will be going up before the month closes out.

Overnight Wednesday into Thursday has been cloudy and cooler, but dry so far. Thursday should be much cooler (only topping out in the mid 60s, lows in the mid 50s) and cloudy with a 100 POP for rain, mostly in the PM hours. Friday might have an early AM shower/overnight with clouds hanging on during most of the AM hours, then becoming sunny in the PM and dry with highs in the low 70s and lows in the mid 50s. Saturday should be sunny and pleasant, with highs in the low-mid 70s and lows in the low-mid 50s. Sunday should wrap up the month of September on a dry, pleasant note with partly sunny skies, high temps in the mid 70s and lows in the mid-upper 50s.

Currently at 0805 the temperature is 63.3°, dew point temperature 58°, relative humidity 83%, barometric pressure at 30.15″ and rising.

Currently I have cloudy skies, cooler temperatures in the lower 60s

Good morning from the Walrus on this cloudy, soon to be damp Thursday.

Kevin
