Remember now you can get the VP2 data on Weatherlink. You can access the data through http://www.weatherlink.com/user/walrusman444 I am posting daily to weather underground. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.” Data is online, normally just about in real-time. The web address for my data on weather underground is: https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KMDrockv200#history/  I contribute daily to cocorahs as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 on https://www.cocorahs.org/

Please remember that Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge. I actually use the data I post to cocorahs from my 4″ cocorahs gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

September monthly precipitation has risen to 7.82″ with my year-to-date precipitation now at 45.90″. More rain on Monday and much of the last week of September will be changing these totals, most likely daily. Light rain has been falling early on this Monday morning, accompanied by continued cool lower 60s temps and dew points with light rain showers falling off and on (80 POP) the rest of the day.  Warming up on Tuesday into the mid-upper 70s, lows in the upper 60s,  with mostly cloudy skies and an 80 POP for thundershowers. Wednesday looks partly cloudy, highs in the low 80s, lows in the upper 50s with a 90 POP for PM thunderstorms.  Thursday should be cooler (remaining in the 60s mostly), partly cloudy with a 50 POP for PM showers. Right now Friday looks dry with only a 20 POP for an isolated shower, highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s.

Currently at 0850 the temperature is 62.1°, dew point temperature at 61°, relative humidity 96%, barometric pressure at 30.35″ and rising.

Cloudy skies, cool temperatures with occasional rain falling this morning (0.05″ as of 0850with occasionally wet weather and clouds expected the rest of the day.

Good morning from the Walrus on this cloudy, wet Monday.

Kevin
