I got up mid afternoon today to get ready for the weekly 1500 Friday rummikub game, held on time as usual in my apartment social room. I had a late brunch of cereal and coffee after the game was over at about 1645,  and talked with Tracy around 1730 when she was driving from one restaurant to the other one – her one day a week when she does a “unique” double shift at both locations. I caught up with a few things like snail mail and email before starting dinner.  I heated up the leftover smoked mac and cheese and the 2 remaining “zucchini boats” that were even more delicious a second time, with a bit of added andouille sausage added to the mix. I had a few peanuts well after dinner plus prune juice and spicy V8 before dinner. I continued to work a bit more on the newly “hatched” Weatherquack weather website which should be fun in the coming months.  I hope some of you out there will join in the fun soon on Weatherquack http://www.weatherquack.com – it is completely free and easy to use once you complete your registration and a short ramping up period.  I worked on a grocery delivery order from 2 local stores, which will be delivered over the weekend at 2 separate times.  I also drank a good part of my ginormous water bottle throughout the evening and early morning hours.

We now have mostly clear skies (for the moment) with just a few wisps of high cirrus clouds glaring off the waking sun.with temperatures around 70° at about 0650.  Saturday now looks to be mostly dry and warm, with only a 20 POP for a possible isolated shower with highs in the  upper mid 80s and lows in the mid 60s. It should really be sunny on Sunday and Monday with highs around 80° to the low 80s and lows in the upper 50s. I am really looking forward to Tuesday according to the forecast right now – partly cloudy with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s. Unfortunately the forecast probably will change as we get closer to Tuesday.  

On Channel 4 radar at 0702, the rains associated with TS Cindy have moved off to the south, east and NE (mostly NE), away from our area at this time.

Also, the barometric pressure dropped to 29.55″ at 0404, signifying what will probably be the lowest pressure I will get from TS Cindy, and probably the lowest value for the month of June.
